... is there anyone so stupid as to think that by "printing money" folks are talking about actual paper currency? Because if you are that ignorant, there is no way to have any kind of discussion with you.

Creating money out of thin air, electronically, is "printing money". Functionally the exact same thing, and the Fed is most definitely doing it.
