There's a lot of money and a lot of bullshit being spread around, and my impression is that it's the hunting lobby. Gun manufacturers, sporting goods stores, hunting magazines, advertisers, guides: there's a lot of money on play.

Leaving the wolves just takes away elk hunting money, because they become harder to hunt. Delisting the wolves not only keeps the elk hunting money, but starts a whole new wolf hunting cottage industry. Follow the money; it's totally fucking sick.
