Saying these are always and forever the driving motives for anything involving guns is fucking stupid. I don't want gun control out of fear. Seriously. I am truly, honestly, not afraid that there is a "gun waiting to get them around every corner." I have very, very little fear of being a victim of gun crime. What I do have is desire. Desire not to read headlines about people shot to death. Deaths that could have been avoided with proper gun control. So, no. "Fear of the unknown" is not what drives the pro-gun-control "crusade". Do you honestly think President Obama is doing what he's doing out of some crippling fear? Really? The man with 24/7 highly-trained bodyguards there strictly for the purposes of preventing that for him and his family?

So, yeah. Your statement is fucking stupid. I don't know how many more times I should say it before it sinks in. Fucking stupid. Fucking Stupid. And you are a horrible human being for promoting it. Because it's fucking stupid. You think every person for gun control is paralyzed by fear, and the only way to rid themselves of the nightmarish terror is to take away peoples guns. YEAH.
