Every Republican is "a racist, misogynistic, selfish, greedy, ignorant person"?

And, somehow, these people who you refer to are the people who have an issue? "Straight to the core of who you are as a person"?

My parents are life long republicans, are both approaching 80, have both served in the military, and if someone said those things about my parents to my face there would be a cloud of dust, for sure. Do they have some outdated ideas, and are they on the wrong side of many issues moving into a new millennium? Hell yea they are, and they know it. I have been in their house when my father has let others stay there because they had nowhere to go, been there when we helped rebuild a church on Washington Ave after a storm, countless times my family and I have helped others ... my parents are some of the most generous, down to earth, honest people I have ever met. It is how I was raised, and you think that I should remove them from my life because my mother is pro choice and my father is against gay marriage?? Hell they do not agree with each other on lots of things ... if they were like you they would not have been married for 50+ years.

Just out of curiosity, is James Carville evil? Or just his wife? Damn sure is a good thing that most logical people do not have these litmus tests on who they associate with ... purists. LOL.

Most people are pretty much the same, we get our ass up and go to work ... day in and day out, we have families that have issues, and we struggle with our own personal demons, we have goals and we do what we think is the right thing to do, for the most part. To think that 50% of the people of this country are "racist, misogynistic, selfish, greedy, ignorant person(s)" must be depressing.
