They took in $40M, and used up $30M in "expenses".

And that is considered GOOD as these "charities" go.

I wouldn't give a nickel to any charity that only delivers 25 cents to the cause. I work with a music education foundation that has zero overhead, 100% of contributions go into the cause. I donated to a group that helps Indonesian children, and their overhead is only 8%. I have a friend who is heavily involved in a charity taking orphans off the streets of Brazil, and their overhead is way less than 10%. There are good charities out there. You have to look for them. The big name ones are mostly crooks and con artists.

Everything Armstrong is involved with is tainted.

On edit, see my post #23 below. The above numbers are not correct, but I still stand by my opinion. The overheads of many of these outfits are way too high. And I have major doubts that the majority of money identified as "program expenses" actually ends up going to cancer research or cancer treatment.
