(39,261 posts)I feel that denying climate change, weakening environmental regulations, forcing women to obey laws that men passed telling them what they can do with their own bodies, ignoring health care reform, loving the fetus but despising the child by punishing poor mothers by cutting pre and postnatal health, nutrition, and education programs, slashing food stamps & Medicaid, demonizing minorities, supporting reckless saber-rattling and wars of choice, ignoring infrastructure, denying the separation of church & state, and gutting worker's rights and restricting voting rights are just a few things your nice Republicans support directly or indirectly through their support of what's become of the Republican party. I am 57 and remember a different GOP, a little stodgy but reasonable. It began going downhill when Reagan embraced the Theocrats and Plutocrats. To support that agenda is to support evil and I want no part of it. You can ignore these things all you want but I can't, so have a nice day.
