what's your point? That Democrats can make mistakes? That Christians are a majority and the rest should take heed? To point out that the non-religious minority doesnt have representation in Congress? That the Christians in Congress are hypocrites because they worship the Golden Bull in spite of Jesus' teachings? Help me out.

You appear to believe that the votes are connected. My point was addressing this statement in the OP:
"I find all the medieval religious ceremonies to be a pompous, hypocritical embarrassment to our nation before the World."
