It would be surprising if the CIA had her in the loop on anything going on anywhere.

She didn't say that there was nothing going on. I believe she gave her honest answer: I do not know.

Let's face it - the CIA has been murdering peasants, raping nuns and killing popular foreign politicians since their inception. And we'd be surprised that they were up to shit now? I wouldn't.
