(37,549 posts)Maybe take their turn and run a voter registration table, volunteer to walk a precinct, or take an older person to go get legal id so they can vote. You know--democracy in action, as opposed to being an active member of the 101st Chairborne, Fighting Keyboards company.
Maybe all the liberals and progressives feeling left out should put down their phones and stop twitting long enough to elect a progressive House in 2014, since Article 1, Section 7 ain't going away anytime soon.
Here's my personal observation--on Election Day, the self-proclaimed "liberals and progressives" of this board--the ones who tell each other that they are "highly respected" members of an Internet chat board, weren't actually doing anything for the Democratic Party. But they had lots to write about!!!
You want in? Show up and work. Then complain.
I spent Election Day protecting the vote of minority citizens. What did you do for the Democratic Party and the constitutional process?
