115. David Clarke is a Tea-bagging Clown..

Clarke is in a semi-permanent feud with the Milwaukee County Board, and he's taken to making increasingly outrageous statement to the media (he's also something of a media whore).

Clarke is pissed because he had to cut 42 officers. He says people are less safe because of that. Here's why David Clarke is full of shit (OK, it's really one of several reasons):

There were 106,936 violent and property crimes committed in Milwaukee County last year. Of those, all but 57 of them were handled by municipal police departments. The MKE County Sherrif responded to 0.20% of all crimes in the county. The Sherrif's Department core function are staffing the County Jail, managing the bailiff system in the County Courts, and pulling over speeders on the freeway system. That's it. Tell me how more guns are going to make a difference.
