39. Yet another DUer who doesn't have a copy of the Constitution

Its not a progressive value to go around yelling "treason" at people who, however odious their views may be, haven't even come close to engaging in the very narrow and specific behavior defined as treason. We properly ridicule tea partiers for displaying ignorance of the Constitution. We ought not to do the same here. Some of us were labelled traitors for opposing the Vietnam War. I refuse to be a hypocrite and stand silently while that accusation is leveled at others by people who ought to know better.
