In reply to the discussion: The NRA publishes its enemy list.. [View all]bread_and_roses
(6,335 posts)42. I see that the AFL-CIO's "Union Sportsmen Alliance"
is not enough to keep them off the list. (It really is time and past that we un-gendered that name)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Sportsmen%27s_Alliance
The Union Sportsmen's Alliance (USA) is a non-profit conservation‐based hunting and fishing organization exclusively for Union members, retirees and their families. Working with its AFL-CIO affiliated trade union partners, the USA's primary goal is to protect wildlife habitat while simultaneously guaranteeing access for hunters and anglers.[1]
The Union Sportsmen's Alliance goal is to become North America's largest community of Union sportsmen and women committed to preserving our outdoor heritage for generations to come.
Through conservation projects and strategic partnerships, USA members will volunteer their skills and resources to expand and improve hunting and fishing access, wildlife habitat and outdoor recreational opportunities for all to enjoy, now and in the future.
The USA is non-partisan and does not take positions on or endorse political agendas, parties or candidates. This statement does not reflect, in any way, on how the USA's participating unions communicate with their members on political, legislative or policy issues.

Don't get me wrong - I'm glad to see us on that list. I shudder to think what sort of stance would keep a person/organization off it.

I saw Stallone on the list. The NRA has "de-friended" RAMBO because he doesn't support guns enough?
