6. It's totally legal and was happening long before the Affordable Care Act

Companies have been hiring people as "temp" labor and contractors for some time now to avoid having to pay benefits. As one poster pointed out this is a matter of corporate policy for Walmart. Many, many Walmart workers on public assistance such as food stamps and medicaid. As many as 80% of workers at some Walmart Stores are on Medicaid.
