Mike Lee is a teabagger who failed at trying to form a political pac and consequently walked away from a $400,000 mortgage loan. He then decided to try his hand at politics. Conveniently assuming the, then, popular tea party mantle and painting Bennett as no longer effective was instrumental in his winning the election. He describes himself as a defender of the Constitution.

One of his first actions on the floor of the Senate was to wave the Constitution in the air while proclaiming the child labor laws are unconstitutional. He's also a strong proponent of bringing tar sands oil mines to Utah. That says all I need to know about Mike Lee. He's a nasty self-serving little corporate maggot who is more interested in filling his pockets than in serving the best interests of the people of Utah.
