Guns are just one facet of expression in our psychosis. What is not reported, what is not on tv is the emotional violence we inflict on each other daily. I'm not talking about bullying, we can see that and point to it. I'm talking about the way in which we treat the human next to us, the ones we say we love, neighbors, strangers. I know I have more times than I want to know hurt others, by my words, actions. Why do we not ask those who are hurting, or suffering, "What ails thee?" That is what we do not want to face, because it has to start with you.
