That would walk down the middle of our street every night at about 2am, not a care in the world. Like clockwork.

I grew up in the midwest and being out there in the desert was one of the happiest times of my life.

The 395 holds a lot of memories for me. Such a beautiful drive. The mountains and desert, watching storms roll in over the Sierra Nevadas. Driving up to Kennedy meadows and Lake Isabella.

Hope to go back there someday - always said when I retire I want to do so in Lone Pine or Bishop.
