First off, let me just say I didn't "sneer" at anyone. You chose to interpret it that way and I don't have any responsibility for that. Nor (for the 400th time) I did not say Beyonce couldn't sing. My point (there was one, though most, in their zeal for their own agendas, completely missed it) was that the dance moves and pyrotechnics do not talent make. I expect singers to be able, at any given time, to be able to sing. Just sing. No dance moves, no pyrotechnics, no auto-tune,no accompaniment, no studio tricks, nothing. Just sing. Too many performers today (did you notice I didn't say "all" performers?) do not have that ability -- they are products of studio PR departments and, too often, talent is the last thing they're concerned with. What they lack in talent is covered with dance moves, pyrotechnics, lip-syncing, and whatever other technical marvels available to us in the 21st century.
Second, I also never mentioned the Superbowl nor any specific performance. Once again, you interjected something that did not exist.
Lastly, as one who studied voice, one who taught voice, and one who sang for 30 years, I appreciate the lecture on vocals and performance but, really, it was somewhat pedantic.
