(12,081 posts)After my mother died of breast cancer my father became very skeptical of traditional medicine. Also, he is very poor so it can be difficult for him to afford to go to the doctor when he needs to. So, he relies on things he finds on the internet. Right now he's onto some kind of 31-day cancer cure crap. He thinks he may have a lump in his breast and instead of going to get it checked out by a doctor he just goes on the internet and finds a "cure". They always put a disclaimer on the first page about how it's not meant to constitute medical advise, that the individual should still seek that advise of a medical doctor, and that you assume the risk when using their program. Bastards. They tell you they can cure cancer then tell you, you assume all the risk so they can't be sued.
