(340 posts)30. Doing good!
All my friends and family are safe and sound. Some have lost homes, but the community is really helping out and we're also getting help from around the country. All the local businesses have been out in full force, the restaurants are handing out free meals, local technology companies are offering free wifi and phone charging, nightclubs are hosting special events nightly to raise money for victims via cover charge, and neighbors are offering housing to those who lost their homes. Hundreds of students gathered today on the University campus to start the cleanup. It's a beautiful thing. We're also grateful for all the support from around the nation. Thanks so much!

OP
What a waste of taxpayer money. Shame on them. I love burgers but I don't need a bill

They'd rather vote on bills like this than bills taxing the rich to repair their broken schools.

At the very least the Mississippi legislature just created a booming economy for cardiologists.

Are they also on the 2 1/2 day per weekers plan? Post a pic. I want to look at them.
