If you really want to weep for the future of this nation, go see how many uneducated, batshit insane cretins are in the state legislature (and how many more of them essentially have a 'get-reelected-for-life' ticket)...

In Virginia, almost all of them are either in the legislature to enrich themselves and/or business partners; or because they're "god/guns/gays" zealots...
