On the site radio reported single shot, then no more. That's about when the cabin started burning.

But I don't know what event preceded what, and neither does anybody here because none of us were on the scene. It's basically irrelevant anyway, because of this finding which fits precisely the events as they developed at the time and refutes alternatives.
