85. Syria voted for UN Sec Res 1441 as did China, Russia, France, Norway, Mexico, Bulgaria, Mauritania,

You can see in that list of countries several that would happily tell the United States to jump in a lake if they disagreed or had the slightest inkling of duplicity or deception by the Bush administration.

That doesnt even capture the story. Virtually the entire world was behind getting the UN Weapons Inspectors back into Iraq because they did not trust Saddam Hussein, and with good reason.

I think the "Wow, aren't we who weren't fooled great people" crowd are mostly folks who don't support any military action and are suspicious of all of them and who happily attack the majority of Democrats on any suggestion that they aren't pure Liberals or Progressives regardless of the evidence to the contrary.
