Just start by making a complaint. And keep at it til you get what you want. That's what the frickin' teabaggers have done. That's what Pox Noise does every day of the week and twice on Sunday! Repeat, repeat, repeat. On it, on it, on it. Again, and again, and again. I did that at my neighborhood bank. And I didn't give up. Every time I went in there, I complained. I complained to whatever teller I saw. THEN, when I didn't see any results, I started walking over to the far end of the room where the managers' desks were, and I complained THERE. Sure enough, I soon noticed that there was no more Pox Noise on my bank's TV monitors. Now it was CNBC or CNN.
I made my complaints personal. I used to be a news reporter/anchor. And truly, I am personally offended by what passes for "news coverage" on outfits like Pox Noise. It dirties up the profession I used to love and in which I was SO proud to play a small part. Gives the whole concept of "news" a big fat oozing black eye. It makes me ashamed. It makes me ashamed of that whole industry that I was once part of. I looked on it as more than just a job or a profession. It was almost like a calling. A calling to inform and educate and illuminate, to spread truth and shed light and cut through lies and bullshit and bear witness. It was like being on a mission. And then these assholes come along with their blonde blow-up dolls and their plastic puffed-up "anchormen" and their ding-dong bells and flashing lights and bright moving colors and just PERVERT everything, while dumbing down America.
I HATE Pox Noise with a burning passion.
