In reply to the discussion: Morning Joe has become totally unwatchable [View all]Atman

All the European countries which tried austerity are hurting worse than ever. Iceland, otoh, has largely recovered by doing what we should be doing -- holding the banksters accountable, and putting their money back into the public, not bailouts. Joe and his ilk are determined that we just need to leave the general public, the vast majority of the country, hanging out to dry while we pump more money into Wall Street and richy rich tax cuts. Krugman has shown that it DOES NOT WORK, but Joe just can't accept it...because he's rich now, and a Southern Republican, therefore he should pay no taxes and everyone else should shut the fuck up. "Oh, and I swear, I didn't kill that intern!"

Joe was still on his entitlement rant today but has curiously stopped pissing on Krugman...
