1. I think this is absolutely true

Although I am black and most of my coworkers are white, it seems they sometimes forget we may have different perspectives. One coworker grilled me about why my family's funerals are done in a certain way rather than the 'normal' way. I just said black funerals are different. It's cultural. They forget that.
