We have concentrated on Presidential and congressional elections the last 20 years and ignored the state and local elections, paticularly in Florida. A bat-shit crazy state legislature and governor have gerrymandered state and congressional districts so even though Florida is a purple going on blue state Democrats continue to lose ground. We all MUST re-focus on local elections!
