You are right, rushbo has become toxic for many advertisers and its hurting not just hate radio but Progressive radio as well. Cash-strapped corporates are dumping the format for "safer" sports talk formats across the country. But that doesn't mean rushbo's going anywhere. He's like the "franchise" player who goes south...the A Rod of radio. He's being paid too much money to be pulled off the air...Cheap Channel and Premiere can't afford to keep him but they can't afford to buy him out either. So there he'll sit...continuing to ruin the rushpublican brand for anyone who isn't an angry old white guy.

The interesting fact is that since rushbo began his bile spewing in '88 the rushpublicans have only won the popular vote twice and a plurality only once. Most rushpublican politicians are too scared of rushbo and the hate mail he can generate...I'm fine with him continuing to wag the dog...it keeps meaning rushpublican losses.
