Quite interesting.

I dont think it is based on any one thing. I think our political thinking is a result of many different things over a long period of time. Proof of that is that our political thinking tends to change as we age. If you are 40 years old, your beliefs are likely not going to be exactly the same as they were when you were 20. You've picked up new experiences, new life events, and new education.

So in other words, it is an ongoing evolution. It does not appear to be like personality which stays reletively the same throughout your life.
