87. Until a couple

of weeks ago, I had no idea who he was. The very first time I ever saw him, he was doing a morning show from the West Coast announcing the Oscar nominees.

I thought whatever jokes he made were lame beyond belief.

Upon reading this thread, I was sort of mystified as to why people seemed to be defending him so vehemently until someone mentioned his political leanings.

Aha! LIBERAL!!!!

Well, that does it then, right? The same jokes coming from a Conservative would no doubt be stupid, boring, and lame to many here.

So, OK. He's a Liberal. I still don't like him, and I don't base my opinion of people's talents on what political party they belong to.

Anyone who does like him...fine. Whatever floats yer boat.

But really...I don't think it's sporting of the people who do like him to accuse those of us who don't like him of being humor impaired or whatever.
