But then again, Captain Caveman is the leader of the Party with no spine, or as I call them in my darker moods - the Doormatcrats.

But why should they fight when their own base is so willing to accept so little effort? When they have a base that celebrates keeping 85% of the Bush tax cuts as a victory, then why go out on a limb for them? Much more important to keep the corporate masters happy, and then those corporate masters will take care of you and help you to dupe the masses.
