he's being consistent in his confirmation votes, I give him credit for that. Good on the other GOPers who voted for Hagel. What I find striking is that so many R's voted for Kerry, but not for Hagel, who was their colleague for 12 freakin' years, and except for his foreign policy and defense views (which are very close to Kerry's), he was really a true conservative. And not dishonest or a fuck-up. You really have to wonder what went on there.
