... like it or not, written language is the "coin of the realm" on forums such as this. There is nothing "elitist" nor is anyone acting with "supposed intellectual superiority" when they try to help you communicate yourself more effectively. If you choose to bask in ignorance and get defensive and angry over it, then you are merely hurting your own cause.
