The coverage of him seems hardly complimentary and during his press conferences a lot of them persist in asking him a bunch of snarky questions. But then again, to be honest, I don't have cable and don't listen to many news broadcasts but it just seems like since he became POTUS, they finally got the balls to ask him the kind of questions and hold him accountable in ways that they seemed to have forgotten with Bush/Cheney- not to say the press shouldn't hold Presidents (all of them) accountable. It just seems like Dems are always held to a ridiculously high standard, esp. in terms of promoting unrequited "bipartisanship" with the Republicans. Seems like he is drawing out a lot of the obvious hacks, though, as you said.
