that the party that he is a member of (and that he gave a rebuttal SOTU for) is known for it's insinuated "Muslims = terrorists" slur by referring to President Obama as "Barack HUSSEIN Obama" (with the middle name in caps and with it fresh in the minds of the low information voter, that it is the same name of the "hated" Saddam Hussein - despite the fact that it is a very common name).

Thus you see the reponses not only here, but around the liberal blogosphere and forums when dealing with cultural naming practices and attempts at anglicizing the name to "fit in".

The GOP has fomented this sort of hatred and many feel the desire to point out the hypocracy of folks like Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley (Indian-Americans) along with nuts like Alan West and Tom Scott (both African Americans), who help promote a party that exhibits this sort of hatred, and don't call the party out on it. And that's because they know if they did, they will end up like a Michael Steele, who has been forced to flap back and forth in the wind as the GOP stomps on him when he has called them on it... And then he relents.
