I currently do not own a gun, but if 'the law is the law' I'd be OK with it with a few provisions......

1) The city will provide me with the gun of my choice or said expense will be deducted from my property taxes.
2) I am reimbursed for ammunition or the cost of such is deducted from my property taxes.
3) I am provided with a gun safety course free of cost. This does not mean Bubba out behind the 'Do Drop In'.
4) I am provide an advanced course on my weapon of choice. This does not mean Bubba out behind the 'Do Drop In'.
5) The city will provide free of cost, practice facilitys. This does not mean out behind the 'Do Drop In'.
6) I and every one else is re-certified on a regular basis free of cost. This does not mean Bubba out behind the 'Do Drop In'.

If the local municipality thinks that they can afford that, then I would be the first to vote yes on an ordinance requiring me to own a new Dodge Charger.
