(6,323 posts)35. I do believe it's called willful ignorance.
I deal with it everyday in my family and extended family on my wife's side. It's an epidemic in this country and along with this notion that "my ignorance is just as important as his facts so F off". They're eye's glaze over the simplest example and then they spout off and froth at the mouth.
I's an impenetrable wall and I am frankly tired of dealing with it.
Now I just make fun of them, its a laugh and it makes me feel better.
I'm open to any other options.
