60. Exactly, for forty years or more the far right was trying to destroy ACORN

They helped minorities after all, mostly they helped stop the bigotry that prevented African Americans from buying homes wherever they wanted to buy them, and to get loans from banks to do so under the new law that was passed to try to eliminate prejudicial decisions preventing them from exercising those rights.

So Congress, both parties, destroyed ACORN. Only 75 Democrats voted against that unconstitutional 'law' introduced by one of the worst Republicans, and then signed on to by all those Democrats.

Not to mention all the court rulings that stated that bill was a 'bill of attainder' and as such unconstitutional. So there is no excuse for Democrats at least, not to publicly apologize to ACORN and to all those who were helped by the organization for what they did.

Shameful, and this is nothing more than a slap on the wrist, which O'Keefe won't have to pay being that he is nothing more than a low life, nutcase in the employment of people like the Koch brothers.
