I know it's hard to believe but it actually IS possible to render the planet uninhabitable by digging up what took millions of years to form and dumping it into the atmosphere in a few hundred years.

The other folks you talk about are all about their Turner Diary vision of an all white earth. Anything that gets in the way of that goal is seen by them as a step backwards. They refuse to accept the idea of a world without them being the dominant race.

What's funny is if they got their wish they would then turn on each other.
