17. When I was a kid we had a parakeet that would ride on our head as we tricycled about.

Don't recall what happened to that bird, but later we had a cocateal that we tried to teach to talk. Never had any luck, but when we went on a two month vacation we gave the bird to some family friends. When we came back from vacation and visited the friends it would say hello and mention my sisters name.
