Which is why Malloy is playing so many Irish songs for bumper music, the latest being "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues, a Celtic punk band:

Did you know that Boston public radio station WGBH plays Irish music on the weekends? Celtic Sojourn[/i Saturdays 3-6pm (ET) before WGBH's live presentation of A Prairie Home Companion (which is on hiatus for the rest of the month and is on repeats until Apr 6).
