Her homophobia took me by surprise for the first time in 2011 when she lambasted a gay guy in her audience, who was asking her about her stance on homosexuality, with this statement:

“Who drafted me as a gay icon? You are looking at the world’s greatest homophobe. Ask God what He thinks.”
