Shame on the dems for distancing themselves from the word liberal just because a two bit actor poked fun at it. Instead, the dems should have proudly embraced the word & said, "Fuckin' A we're liberal & here's why!" Then they should have recited every point in the Joe Conservative essay. Instead, they distanced themselves from the word liberal & soon after, they abandoned liberal policies as well.
You cannot tell me that the dems do not know how important it is to frame the debate. Yet, the likes of George Lakoff are not on the dem payroll, which tells me, they don't want to frame the message. They are ok playing good cop/bad cop with the repubs toward the American people.
It is a disgusting mess & I don't know how much longer I will continue to vote for the lesser of two evils.
The people who can fix the mess are the very ones who are benefiting from the mess!
