I did post that I thought the story sounded fishy. I never meant to imply that I was set to convict her, but I have watched enough reality crime stuff on cable to know that she certainly could have been the killer.

I think the fact that it is true, just goes to show that even something as unbelievable as this.....the cold blooded killing of a baby by teenagers, over perhaps a few bucks, indicates that we are too far gone as a society to feel safe in anything we do really.

I'm sure nothing would be different if guns were not so readily available. I'm confident someone will point out that these kids could have gotten the guns anyways.....and I'm sure that makes us all feel a whole lot safer.
