I feel that the Paulites would spin this into "Dr Paul could monitor the corruption from the belly of the beast!"

Romney and Gingrich are anathema to the core beliefs that Paul and his ilk claim to adhere to (which I don't believe he really holds in his heart), so an alliance with them would be ridiculous. But it would be a chance for me to finally put my hands on my hips and give a great guffaw.
