18. Our Border Collie who passed last night would bring the geese to where ever we were.

It's been a sad melancholy day, mostly overcast. We had just gotten a new puppy last month then the old dog gets sick. We had taken him to the vet yesterday and scheduled surgery for today, but he didn't make it through the night. The puppy spent time licking his face last night, very tender moment.
