...that sounds like their was some element of consent.

I would need to know more about this case.

Having spent a decade in the BDSM community, I know there are a lot of things people do that might seem pretty messed up to everyday folks. To me, the things described in this article are perfectly OK in the context of a consensual relationship.

But if they had pre-negotiated boundaries that he violated, or if she told him to stop at any time and he did not, it is not OK. "Kinky" is not a free pass to do whatever the hell you want.
