My big sister started to wake up today and take more notice of what was going on, according to reports from family that was there. She squeezed her daughters hand too. She is still not following commands but we are thankful to see what progress there is. She has been battling a fever the last few days but my understanding is it is under control. Tomorrow I am visiting her with the whole family and then we are going out for Easter brunch.

I feel for you. My oldest sister just got out of the hospital. They thought it was pneumonia.

She sounds athletic and is strong and resilient. She might have to be unconscious for a while.
