(37,573 posts)56. I think Proudhon may have only been talking about land and buildings
when he said "property is theft" and generally if you go far enough back in its history somebody first stole the land from somebody else, for any given piece of land.

The figures would be more like "if the top 20% had to give up assets to have wealth = the bottom 80%
