The apparent motive for the Colorado shooting is that the 211s were upset because a bunch of them got shuffled to different prisons, in an effort to break up that gang.
And my Google-fu says that the Aryan Brotherhood is also being investigated for the Texas DA shooting.

Anyone remotely connected to white supremacists in the Colorado prison system had better get used to eating nutraloaf for breakfast, lunch and dinner for months at a time. And I'll bet the shot-callers are gonna get supermaxed.
