I don't think I would go to such lengths just to keep them. We have 4 cats, 1 indoor and 3 outdoor, but we have 2 acres and own our home so we can have as many pets as we like! We had a dog, an Akita, even built a kennel for her, but after 6 years, she was able to get outside our fenced yard and we never saw her again. She was so pretty, we think someone picked her up. We decided dogs were too much work, cats take care of themselves as long as you feed them and provide a litter box.
